Publix PASSport App

Publix PASSport is the employee portal used by Publix associates. A lot of people casually call it an “app,” but in practice, PASSport is most often used on a phone through a mobile browser so you can sign in and check your employee tools when you’re not on a store computer. Because sign-in may include verification, login problems usually happen due to session timeouts, device changes, or verification prompts not completing.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to access PASSport on your phone, how to sign in/out, and how to understand the other Publix work apps (Publix PRO and Store Manager PRO) so you don’t mix them up with PASSport.

Publix PASSport “app” usually means opening the PASSport portal on your phone for employee self-service access. It’s a convenient way to reach PASSport tools quickly, as long as you have your credentials and can complete the required sign-in verification.

  • Publix associates with active PASSport credentials
  • New associates may need to wait until their access is enabled as part of onboarding/store setup

To sign in smoothly, you typically need:

  • PASSport username and password
  • A reliable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
  • The verification method your account uses for secure sign-in (many setups use Microsoft Authenticator)

HOW TO LOGIN PUBLIX PASSPORT APP
  1. Open your phone browser (Chrome or Safari).
  2. Go to the PASSport login page provided by your store/company resources (commonly accessed through publix.org).
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. Complete the security verification step (approval or code).
  5. After verification, you’ll land on your PASSport dashboard.

  1. Open the menu/profile area inside PASSport.
  2. Tap Log out / Sign out.
  3. Close the browser tab after logging out (recommended), especially on shared devices.

What you can access depends on your role and permissions, but mobile PASSport access is generally used for:

  • Opening employee self-service items available in PASSport
  • Viewing your basic work/profile details (as available)
  • Using internal links/resources that are connected through PASSport

PASSport is the employee portal, but Publix also offers separate work-related apps that support store operations. The two most common ones are:

  • Publix PRO (store-floor product/inventory support tool)
  • Store Manager PRO (operations tool for store leadership)

These are separate from PASSport and are designed for different tasks.

Is Store Manager PRO for every associate?

No. It’s for specific leadership roles (ASM/SM/DM and above).

Do these apps require Microsoft Authenticator?

Publix PRO and Store Manager PRO require Microsoft Authenticator. PASSport sign-in may also use verification depending on how your account is set up.
